my music is an expression of my thoughts and feelings. i write and compose music based on the moment, i have no formula, i have no boundaries or affiliations with one particular genre. i love and listen to music from across the board and in turn produce tunes the same way. i want to be honest and say what i believe, i find that by writing that way, others can empathize with songs through their own perspective on the feel and lyrics.
i have been lucky to play with and alongside some incredibly talented and creative musicians, which has given me a great opportunity to become even more diverse with my compositions. matt barker tunes is always a work in progress. i hope you dig them.
